  •  It is a great privilege for Penang-based artist Yeong Seak Ling beating thousands of renowned and lesser known artists to be invited  for "Olympic Fine Arts 2008", a parallel event run under the Olympic Organizing Committee. It is a mega event in the field of art. This cultural event is to promote artistic communication and cultural cooperation between China and the world. The artwork by Yeong Seak Ling will be housed in the Olympic Fine Arts Museum at Tai Miao Temple in Beijing after touring the world for the next two years together with the selected artworks by 110 renowned artists from 80 countries.
  • Yeong Seak Ling’s  painting for the Olympic -  “Mother & Son”,  reflects the quintessence of Malaysian rural life. A self taught artists, who the founder cum President of the Art-Grup Penang (2003-2007) and ArtGroup-International (2008-), has 6 solo art exhibitions over 60 international exhibitions across the world to his credit, He has received international acclaims for his unique style that reflects both an integration of local subject matter and superb realism. His painting entitled: Malaysian Kampung Life series , from the collections of Central Bank of Malaysia was featured in “The International Museums Engagement Diary 2007”, the only living artist  featured together with world renowned masters in the past like Edouard Manet, Paul Gauguin, Jean Francois Millet and George Turner.
  • Important collections of his works: Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia), Malaysia National Art Gallery, Dragon Museum Taiwan, Universiti Sains Malaysia Museum, Penang Museum & Art Gallery and numerous private individuals from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, China, U.S.A, England, Australia, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and France.
